Bob Hall Pier – Fishing at Its Best!

If you’re all about the fishing, check out Bob Hall Pier which juts into deep water, giving you access to fish that dont’ go near the shore.

At an impressive 1,240 feet, this pier extends proudly into the Gulf and serves as a hub for many avid anglers. The pier extends to waters deep enough for fisherman to have a truly different experience, and for beginning anglers to enjoy seeing new types of fish. Grab a line and come enjoy some of the fishing here, where you can expect to see many different species of fish, including grouper and speckled trout.

Pier Fees:

$2/person, $2/pole (4 pole limit per person), $2/cast net, $1/ person for seniors 65+, $1/ pole for seniors 65+, $1/ cast net for seniors 65+. For more information, call 361-949-7300.

Equipment Rental

If you’ve left your supplies at home, have no fear: you can rent or purchase bait and tackle on the pier easily. Vendors here are always willing to help visitors who need more information on which bait to use or the best way to string a line. And of course, if you’re interested, the Tackle Loaner Program is always an excellent place to start when learning to fish.
